HOW DID I END UP HERE?

Born in the UK and growing up as a British Indian was not easy. I wanted to experience the freedom of living in the UK, yet it felt like my parents wanted me to live, as if I was living in India.

I was told to be quiet, subservient, not express my voice and just do as I was told. I was torn between who I wanted to be and who everyone else wanted me to be.

Maybe subconsciously, it was my childhood experiences that led me to explore and ask the bigger questions, about the meaning of life. I remember in my early teens, I tried to read books on psychology by Sigmund Freud at the local library. They were far too weighty for me back then.

The bottom line was that my childhood struggles impacted my adult life. My drive to go to university was more about escaping the clutches of my limiting homelife and experience the freedom I craved. University life was a steep learning curve and it opened my eyes to a bigger world that I had been sheltered from.

When I started my career as an NHS Management Trainee, I still struggled with my lack of self-belief, self-worth and self-doubts. Yet through dedicated mentorship and leadership training, I not only survived but thrived, climbing the career ladder as senior manager over 14 years.

I absolutely loved all the management and leadership training I received. It ignited something deep within me. I dreamt that one day I would be a trainer standing in front of participants, imparting wisdom, inspiring and motivating others to make changes in their professional and personal lives. I devoured personal development books and became a certified Coach.

Live a J.A.M.E.E. Life
Joyful, Authentic, Meaningful, Empowered and Emboldened life

When the opportunity arose to work for a management consultancy, as a leadership and management trainer, I took the plunge and left the NHS. At the time I believed it was my dream job.

For a while, everything was going great. I learned so much about consultancy and training. Unfortunately, the new role also brought me face-to-face with my chronic stress. I had been in complete denial, and it culminated in a wake-up call when I fainted from exhaustion at work.

This pivotal moment marked my transition to self-employment as an interim contractor and later set the stage for launching my own training and coaching business.

Transitioning into self-employment brimmed with challenges: frustration, overwhelm, imposter syndrome, and limiting beliefs.

When I finally I decided to start my own business, my mum’s health started to rapidly deteriorate, so I ended being a being a carer at the same time.

These periods of intense personal challenge, marked by stress, exhaustion, and significant sacrifices, taught me the importance of learning how to transform stress, build personal resilience and upgrade my mindset and the necessity of self-care in my life.

Fortuitously, my passion for personal development led me to the transformative teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza and the HeartMath Institute. Their insights revolutionised my understanding of how thoughts and emotions create our realities, forming the foundation of my coaching and training programs.

Today, I love nothing more than sharing and empowering women who are looking for support, with tools and strategies who want to live life on their terms.

My programs are designed to enable resilience to grow for transformation to flow, empowering you to get back more time, energy and inner peace, just as I continue to do so.

Throughout my journey, the most important thing I have learned is that nothing changes until YOU change. You are more powerful than you know. You are stronger than you believe. You are enough, full of potential and have access to infinite possibilities. You can develop a Resilient Heart and live a Joyful, Authentic, Meaningful, Empowered and Emboldened life – a J.A.M.E.E. life! You always have a choice. You just need to decide whether you are going to make that choice from a place of fear and limiting beliefs or from a place of love and untapped potential. It all starts with YOU, making a change from the inside out.

Daksha has been the whisper when I have needed to remember to breathe. A technique she taught me to understand. Something so simple, done right, can have a profound effect.  Between her depth of understanding for Heart Math, the wisdom that is the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, coupled together with an engaging presentation style, I challenge anyone to not gain some insight over a coffee with Daksha.

I have never felt so resilient. I have clarity of thought. I am more myself than I have ever been, and this translates to being better at my “job”.

Happiness is the outcome.  If you or your team work in a stressful environment, if making clear decisions in the moment are important, if you want to be able to do everything better, with more clarity and certainty, book a coffee with Daksha.

Listen to what she has to say and then believe it. Working with Daksha delivers results.  I am ALWAYS open to being contacted to discuss a personal and professional reference for this amazing lady.
